E-commerce website development

Stores built to sell. Clean product architecture, a checkout that doesn't lose people, and a back-end your team can run without phoning us every week.

We build online stores for South African retailers and brands, from single-range skincare stores to large tool catalogues and stores that ship internationally. Up to 110 products are loaded for you as part of the build, and your team is trained to run the rest.

What's included

  • WooCommerce and custom storefronts
  • Local and international payment gateways
  • Product, stock and order management
  • Multi-currency and shipping rules
  • Catalogue and request-for-quote builds
  • Handover training so you own it properly

Structured to sell

Most underperforming stores are not ugly; they are badly organised. We spend real time on category structure, filtering and product templates, because that is what decides whether someone finds the thing they came for.

Checkout and payments

Local gateways for South African customers and international ones where you sell abroad, including multi-currency and shipping rules. We have shipped stores serving customers in the UK and further afield.

Your team runs it

Stock, orders, pricing and promotions all managed from an admin your staff can use without phoning us. We load your first products, then train you so you are not dependent on us for routine changes.

From the first click to a paid order

Most underperforming stores are not ugly; they are badly organised. The path from category to product to checkout is where we spend the time.

How the work runs

The same terms on every project, so you know where you stand before you pay a deposit.

  • Fixed quote

Quoted off your specification as a fixed figure, valid for ten working days.

  • 50% deposit

A 50% deposit starts the work. The balance is due before handover.

  • Three revisions

Up to three rounds of changes per page during design, as standard.

  • Real devices

Tested on real devices rather than a browser resize.

  • Full handover

Every credential, access detail and document handed over, plus training.

  • Two-day check

Two working days after go-live to flag anything before we call it done.

Questions

What does a website cost?

Every project is quoted individually once we've seen your specification, so you get a fixed figure rather than a range that moves later. A 50% deposit starts the work and the balance is due before handover. Quotes stay valid for ten working days.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. We build on systems you can manage, and we train your team at handover. If you'd rather not touch it, we offer a maintenance plan where we handle updates and take responsibility if anything breaks.

How many products do you load for us?

Up to 110 products are loaded on your behalf as part of the build, as long as you supply the correct product information. After training you can load unlimited products yourself; any uploads we do beyond the included 110 are charged at R20.00 per product.

Can I sell to customers outside South Africa?

Yes. We set up international payment gateways, multi-currency and shipping rules where you sell abroad, and we have shipped stores serving customers in the UK and further afield.

Which platform will my store be built on?

We build on WooCommerce and custom storefronts, and Shopify is part of our toolkit too. We recommend the platform that fits how you sell when we scope the project, and that you'll be able to hire for later.
