We began in 2014 building websites for small businesses around Johannesburg. The work grew because the sites did what they were supposed to and the people who commissioned them told other people.

Today the portfolio runs from single-page brochures to a full learning management system with student portals, live classes and integrated payments. We've built catalogue sites for distributors, registration systems for swim schools, quoting tools for suppliers, and stores that ship internationally with multi-currency checkout.

What we deliberately don't do is spread thin. We're not a marketing agency and we don't sell branding packages. We develop — and we'd rather be genuinely good at that than passable at six things.

Most of our clients came from a referral, and a good number have been with us for years across two or three rebuilds. That's the part of the record we're actually proud of.

A lemon cuts through. That's what a good website has to do — cut through the noise of every competitor doing the same thing, and get to the point before a visitor gives up and hits back.

It's also a reminder to keep things simple. The best builds we've shipped are the ones where we removed things, not added them.
